The Signature Offering

Talks, Workshops, One To Ones and More

Stage 1: “Personal Connection” talks/workshops are the first piece of the puzzle when driving the culture change that is necessary to ensure the most time and cost effective transition to sustainable business practices. It’s easy for senior management or indeed any employee to resist or delay changes to their work practices, procedures and policies if they have ‘always done it like that’ and do not really ‘get’ why addressing climate change is important. The key to starting the conversation is how their own family, finances and wellbeing can benefit from cutting their own carbon footprint, and giving them the confidence to know why and where to start. Small changes can have a big impact on an individual’s carbon footprint and celebrating their ideas and successes at home encourages openness to being an active, informed and effective part of the business’ sustainability transformation.

  • 1-1.5hr Interactive Talk. Stage 1: ‘Personal Connection’ Talk: 5-30 attendees.

Stage 2: “Business Boosting (Tailored)” talks/workshops are the second piece of the puzzle. These require more prep and a conversation with the business to ensure they are tailored to highlight the areas in which senior management and employees in general can get involved in helping the business achieve its own particular sustainability targets, within the context of their roles or departments. They start with a celebration of what people feel they are doing well at home (since the “Personal Connection” talk), then whether they have felt empowered to build on those achievements through their role or team’s efforts. The bulk of the session highlights the chief areas that the business is seeking to cut its carbon emissions and waste, and how the attendee’s can support such targets through their own roles and departments.
